Workshop Riso // James Langdon

The workshop began by gathering a collection of 57 unrelated objects from around the school and local area. This collection formed the basic material of the workshop. During the four days the collection was subjected to a number of exercises, borrowing from the work of Norman Potter, Graham Harman, Sofia Hulten, and the science of pataphysics. Each day’s activity was documented in a single channel of a four colour image, printed on a Risograph machine at the end of each day and forming a four colour image by the end of the workshop.
